Right! I got very bored, and very annoyed at the current state of my car, so I fixed some myself, and I have just gotten back from getting the mechanic to do the other important stuff. I managed to fix my passenger side seat AT LAST. Yes yes, I know, those of you who have ridden with me know of how terrible it was in that seat, and will probably be thinking "about goddamn time, Leif!". But I did it. It's nice and pretty.

This morning, I dragged my ass outta bed, and hauled it down to the mechanics at the ungodly hour of 8am. Was having the top hats, springs, and shockers replaced, for both front and rear. I've been meaning to fix the suspension for a while. The mechanic called after he'd done it all, and said that I needed new brakes urgently, which I knew – fscking father didn’t believe me. Got him to whack in the pads that were in the boot of my car, along with
krystal_'s boxes of Luvaware stuff. Quite embarrassing.

Not pleased about the brakes though – Dad was adamant about the fact they didn’t need replacing. There was ~1mm of pad left on it. I hate it when he believes himself so much I agree just to shut him up, I really should know better after the headlight globes he put in melted the contacts on the relay.

Also got a wheel alignment, and a quote for a new exhaust system. 550$ for genie extractors, fitted, and 290$ for the rest of the exhaust, including a straight-through muffler, and about 60$ for the tip I want at autobahn. Will think about it LATER. When I have more money.

I better go to class, eh.
