Just did my Semeseter 4 Final - d00t. So happy I passed, contemplating doing the Voucher exam so I can get the Final FINAL exam cheaper - I should read up a bit on the previous 3 semesters though first.
Telstra called me up this morning to confirm my line being reactivated, techie will come over tomorrow morning, gah, that means I have to wake up early and be concious enough to interact and all of that type stuff. There's already a pair going into my room for the second line, so all it REALLY needs is the port reactivated at the exchange, but yeah.
Going to apply for ADSL once the line is installed. Will be good ![]()
In other news, I've started reading up on the LARTC ( Linux Advanced Routing/Traffic Control ) stuff. Gonna do some funky QoS/traffic shaping for the network hopefully, either way, it shows a hell of a lot nicer information than ifconfig and friends. CBQ here I come.
The move has gone okay - I've managed to fit MOST things into my room, all of my networking and server gear is in the wardrobe, running with an extension cord and a UPS, its all rather full actually. Managed to drain the UPS because the server was compiling - a quick addition of a double adapter and another powerboard, and everything played nice.
