First of all, I hope that everyone had a very pleasant Christmas/Boxing day, and for fellow Melbournites - I hope the rain didn’t ruin any planned festivities.
I was blessed this year with my grandparents coming down to finally see our house in Melbourne - likely the first and only time for my grandmother who has had MS for at least 30 years. Anyhow, they traveled up on the Sunday and stayed both for Christmas and most of Boxing Day.
That was good enough for me this year as I’m rarely in the mood to ask for specific ’stuff’, but I did get presents.

A fairly good haul, and I’m very thankful for the thought that people gave to finding things that I’d appreciate.
I do have 400$ now - I’m very much pondering getting an iPod. I’m also thinking about a fancy flash for my camera, but thats a little extra. Though i desperately need to fix some things on my car, I think I’d much rather honor the idea of getting myself something fun instead of wasting the cash on the car.
Does anyone have any ideas of what alternative purchases I could make?
