I just got back from a 'nice' evening out. But I’ve been a very busy boy today.

Found out we're moving - this place is up for auction, so we're having to move out anyway. The house is unlikely to be finished before the 60 day settlement period for the house would be finished, so we have to take out a small 6 month lease on another place. All of you lot who actually know me - I’ll have a barbie at some point, so er.. be warned
I finally got my certs - went to Officeworks today and got them printed on nice paper and stuff - cost me a little over 10 bucks, what a goddamn rip-off. Oh well. Trekked down to Frankston, got my teacher to sign 'em, and then went off to get a frame. That was another 17 bucks. Rip-off #2. Had <lj user="curlthang"> call me back and see if I was up to do something with her and <lj user="amarok">, and yeah, decided to go with them off to Southland. Did a few things, had some lunch, I bought this Arlec torch/screwdriver combo thing. It'll come in useful, I hope.

Ended up going out to a supposed BBQ with Dick and Jason, which ended up being waiting out the front of Dicky's friend's place for an hour, going to the bottle-o, then heading off to the Hawthorn.

Why must Dicky have such cute friends, eh?

Anyhow, got a parking ticket for that effort. Damnit. My first one 60$ down the drain Oh well.. what can you do, eh.

I'm going to go drink some coke, have some chips, and pretend that my hair doesn’t stink of cigarettes.

Well. Seeing that Aurora chewed through my beautiful blue Logitech mouse ( grrr Kirstie.. ) i had to go and get another one. I now have a Logitech Mouseman Dual Optical, its nice and grey and pretty, and has two LED’s for stuff. Very nice.

Secondly, I managed to score a Samsung 700S. Wootles. Finally i have something better than my Samsung 15GLi. I cleaned it all up and it looks as good as new, apart from the missing back plastic bezel thing. That’s not cool. But oh well, as if i ever look at the BACK of my monitor. Although, on my current desk setup, its rather in my face. Not enough room, yo.

Mexican tonight, i hope i can make it. I haven’t done much on my project that i forgot about. Naughty Leif. I don’t think the write-up will be done by tomorrow - I’ll have to do my presentation next week. ’sides, i want this to hook up nicely with the “Lans” subject, i can hopefully use my project for the basis of RPL.

I just finished my Cisco Fundamentals of Unix EXAM! Which means I get to claim I can administer Solaris with some sort of competancy. Now I just need to go print out my certificate, and then go get it signed, and all that kinda crap, what fun. I need me a color laser printer now, for that certificate goodness.

I need me a drink or two.
