Ok. So i applied for that whole 6-months interest free thingo to buy my bed last week. Got denied.
Ok, so thats not too bad in itself, i was given the whole "we dont know why you were denied, the credit company will send you a letter giving their reasons later on" deal by the store girl. Fair enough - i can wait for an explanation.
Today, said letter arrives, and states.. NOTHING.
It was totally useless in all ways possible. No explanation of which detail was offending to them, but a helpful reminder, that should my circumstances change ( ie if i wanted to lie to them some more ) that i could reapply at any time. Great help there. Totally explains why they denied me credit.
Oh well. I'm gonna put it on the credit card tomorrow - i paid off another 600$ of it, my christmas money and whatnot. Kinda annoyed that i wont be able to get it as cheap as when i went to initially get it, but i'll just have to deal with it. I'm really looking forward to getting another 20cm on the end of my bed, so that i actually *FIT* onto it. Might buy some nice pillows too from Myer, as i've got oodles of voucher goodness to spend there.
( Oh, and btw, why does blastwave insist that KDE depends on Apache2? )
I'm also coming to the slow realisation that i'm getting old. My 24th birthday is coming up in less than two weeks, and i'm just not even remotely excited about it as i once was. I actually just want to be left alone next thursday, but i'm betting my family will wake me at an ungodly hour ( see: 12pm and earlier ) and demand that i open presents in front of them. Sounds all nice, but they only want me to get it over and done with so they can bugger off anyway.
Why? WHY MY PIGGY?!?
( Oh, and yes Stef, if you're reading this, im going to steal your KDE-looking-like-GNOME-looking-like-sawfish doobie. except not on linux. so hah. )
